When I first saw this challenge over on the AAA cards challenge blog I thought it would be really hard as I’m a stamper at heart but I’ve really enjoyed using only Dies to make the following two cards. I’ve even used Dies I haven’t had chance to use before.
It also transpires that despite not being a very ‘blingy’ cardmaker and not a fan of too many embellishments, truly CAS style cards are quite a challenge for me!
I’m also going to place my cards with Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes With Dies Feb challenge and the bicycle card with Time Out Challenges for their challenge #103 which is all about hobbies.
Thanks for stopping by today.
I’m on the blog today to show two lovely cards made using the same heart die. There’s a new challenge blog called Twofer Card Challenge where you are challenged to make two different cards for different occasions using the same die or stamps. Unfortunately I missed the first challenge due to time constraints but the second challenge is all about hearts. So here are my two cards.
The card on the right was going to be entered into Time Out challenge #102 which has a black, white and gold photo inspiration however I’m a few days too late!! 😂😂
So instead I’ll be entering the Double D Sequin Challenge and the Happy Little Stampers Anything goes with Dies Feb challenge.
This is a shaker card with sequins and beads behind an acetate panel.
Well that’s me done for now. I’ve got loads of card ideas running around my head but not much time to do anything about it!
So today is the day of all things love…personally I’m not a fan of this over commercialised day but at least it’s an excuse for me to make a nice card. And this year the card is very pink!
So I started by making my own background ‘smooshing’ a selection of pink inks. I love this technique and the results always vary. It’s hard to pick up on the photo but I have also added some shimmer with cosmic shimmer pixie powder and some splatters of metallic watercolour. I die cut the word LOVE and used stitched square dies to create a nice edge to this and a larger pink panel. Finally I stamped ‘with’ and added a heart topper in silver mirror and pink card.
I hope you all have a lovely day.
I’m just here today to post a couple of catch up cards, ones you may have already seen on Instagram or Pinterest (links to my accounts on the right side bar or bottom of the page if using a mobile device).
So to start with a card made for my nephew when he passed his driving test. His favourite colour is blue and the campervan stamp is from Hobbycraft.
And secondly a really lovely card made using the Uniko Style and Simply Said Blocks stamp sets from Uniko. I love these two stamp sets.
Thanks for your time today.

So to start off again I’m posting a photo of a lovely card I made using the Stampin Up! Hardwood background stamp and topped with the Altenew Peony Bouquet stamp. Finally I added a sentiment from the wonderful Uniko Simply Said Blocks stamp set which is a very versatile purchase!
Thanks for your time today and hopefully you have decided to subscribe. I will be posting a few catch up cards as the week progresses which you may have seen on my Instagram and Pinterest accounts (links in the sidebar) but I promise to start posting new makes soon.
